The project was launched in October 2019. With the support of a team of researchers, international developers and communication experts, a network of companies has been built up, selected for their products that showcase the region’s capacity for innovation. Piedmontese products have been used to create the Plugin House, a modular housing solution in which the indoor spaces (bathroom, kitchen, storage spaces) are designed as interchangeable plug-ins which may be reconfigured in a variety of ways and combined with a system of flexible compartments and decorations, offering easy flexibility in home environment design. This innovative housing solution can also be interpreted in different ways, depending on the needs of the developers. In a parallel development to the housing solution, the companies involved embarked on a marketing and internationalization path to identify trends and solutions tailored to target countries.
